2023 is an eminently rugby year. Because this sport is celebrating its 200th anniversary and because we will be hosting the most prestigious of competitions in France, and in Marseille in particular, next September: the World Cup !

For the occasion, Le Cloître goes X-V to plunge you into the heart of rugby culture, as close as possible to this global event.

Over and above the rugby culture of the directors, this rapprochement between the Cloître and Ovalie seemed an obvious choice, given the many similarities between the major principles that characterize us. For example commitment for example. In rugby, you commit to a scrum, you commit to a tackle in defense, you commit to a gap in attack.

At the Cloître, we're committed too! We're committed to training and professional integration of young people from priority urban neighborhoods. In fact, this is one of the priority missions of the Fondation des Apprentis d'Auteuil, which initiated the Le Cloître project, which is celebrating 157 years of working with disadvantaged young people.. We're committed to ecology by guaranteeing that our restaurant plates Les Jardins du Cloître responsible, organic, seasonal and 100% local cuisine. We are committed to to help the underprivileged thanks to our Casseroles Solidaires, which distribute 50 meals a week to students in need.

Profits from the Grands Banquets de l'Ovalie will be used to finance initiatives for young people in the northern region, including rugby initiation courses, tastings in the Cloître gardens, school support for the École des XV association, and donations of meals to the Vendredi13 association for the most disadvantaged students...
