The artists
Christophe LeLoiL has been taking his muted trumpet sound to stages all over Europe for over 20 years. Rob Clearfield is a rising piano star from Chicago with a string of prestigious collaborations. Both found each other in Marseille, via a social network.
Their music is hazy, romantic, swinging and virtuoso. It mixes a selection of compositions reinvented for the occasion, and a choice of standards that they love and masterfully deconstruct over the course of the concert.
